Let me start with a few words about Dream On Me Jayden’s design. The crib is built of sustainable New Zealand pine wood, featuring a traditional-looking style, with gentle, smooth arches and spindles.
It is available in six different finishes, Cherry, Espresso, Black, Natural, Storm Grey, and White. That is a lot, and surelly more from the most mini or full-size combo cribs.
A wide color selection, together with a timeless, minimalist design, allows you to mix and match it with any nursery theme, which I find very useful.
Space saving efficiency
Dream On Me Jayden is a mini crib, which should save as much space as possible without compromising the comfort of the baby’s sleeping space.
However, this is not a standard mini crib but a combo model. The attached changer considerably increases the total length of the mini crib compared to the classic convertible or portable mini cribs.
Nonetheless, considering that you get two pieces of furniture, Dream On Me Jayden is still one of the cribs, which saves the most space.
In my opinion, it is a perfect crib for small spaces, such as tiny nurseries or nursery nooks in the parents’ bedroom.
However, if you live in a really tiny apartment, I recommend you take a look at the mini crib with an under crib drawer. Yes, you give up the changer, but many parents use their bed or other alternatives. And under the crib is the trundle drawer, which is an excellent substitute for storage space on the changer.

Convertibility review
The Dream On Me Jayden grows with your child and can last beyond the toddler age. It is a 4-in-1 convertible crib, meaning it can convert into three different beds.
We found Jayden’s assembly and conversions easy. Conversions also don’t take you much time, especially if you have help. But it is essential to follow the included instructions! Not just to get the job done fast, but also to retain Jayden’s safety. The crib and its conversions should not wobble!
However, there are two things you have to consider before your decision. First of all, the Dream On Me Jayden does not convert into a toddler bed! Its conversions are a crib, mini daybed, and twin-size bed with or without a footboard. And second … this is a mini crib, so it transforms into a mini daybed.
The usability of mini toddler beds is limited only to a short time, so the lack of this conversion is not uncommon for mini convertible models.
In fact, I do not remember any mini combo crib with such conversion. Only full-size combo models have it. So, if you want a mini toddler bed anyway, you will have to give up the changer and choose a convertible mini crib, such as DaVinci Kalani or Babyletto Gelato.
The daybed is also in a mini size, but everything for this conversion is included, so why not give it a try.
Your final option is the conversion into a twin bed, but you will have to buy the conversion kit. Use the front rail as the footboard and the back rail as the headboard of the twin bed. The cool part of this conversion is a detachable changer, which transforms into a stand-alone nightstand.
How long can your baby use it?
- Yous baby should stop using Dream On Me Jayden as a crib when he begins to climb or reaches 35 inches.

Dream On Me Jayden’s changer review
The quality of the changing table is good, but again I can’t get past the fact that this is a small crib with a shorter changing surface. It can hold up to 30 pounds, but your child will outgrow it lots sooner.
Yes, it serves its purpose for the first months, but afterward, it is more of a storage space than a changing table. However, its drawers are very convenient and quite spacious. There are even two little shelves on the back.
You will get a custom-fit changing pad with the crib. As it is hard to find one with such dimensions, that’s great. It is approximately 23 inches long by 13 1/2 inches wide and 1 inch thick. There is also a restraining strap with an easy release buckle for an added safety.
The changing table is attached on the right side of the crib, and the Jayden crib or daybed can not stand without it! However, it is detachable in the last conversion into a twin size bed, where it converts into a stand-alone nightstand.
The bottom line … do not buy this or any other mini combo crib just because of the “changing table”. But if you consider it more as an excellent space-saving crib with an attached storage unit, it’s a perfect choice!
Safety
Dream On Me Jayden 4-in-1 mini convertible crib and changer is a safe crib, which meets all applicable CPSC and ASTM safety standards. It is a stable mini crib, built with sturdy rails and feet. The crib is also lead and phthalate safe and finished in a multi-step non-toxic painting process.
However, to be safe for your baby, you have to pick the right mini crib mattress and follow safe sleep guidelines.

Dream On Me Jayden has a wooden mattress base and three-level mattress support. You can start with the top level for a newborn and gradually lower it down while your child grows.
You will get a 1” mattress pad with the crib, but I suggest you choose a better one. Dream On Me Jayden takes any US standard size mini crib mattress, which is at least 37 3/4 inches long by 23 3/4 inches wide, with a thickness not exceeding 3 inches.

Dream On Me Jayden is a quality space-saving mini combo crib. It grows with your child and gives you a lot much needed storage space.
Of course, you can use it as a changing table. In fact, it is a good changer, with an included pad and safety restraining strap. But, unfortunately, its changing surface is small and useful only in the first months.
That is the same on all mini combo cribs, so it is not a Dream On Me Jayden’s drawback compared to other mini combo models. So, when choosing any mini combo crib, let the changing table’s surface on the top of the drawers not be the part that would make you decide to buy.
